The Milky Way features a blueish spiral arm. It also is in a spiral design. Tfhe Sun is 33,000 light years away from the middle of the Milky Way. The nearest galaxies are 170,000 and 210,000 light years away. These are some of many galaxies in the Universe. Some galaxies are M31, NGC5128, M33, NGC253, M81, M87, M104, the Small Magellanic Cloud, and the Large Magellanic Cloud. From Earth, the middle of the Milky Way is 226 million years away. Some of the planets in the Milky Way galaxy have atmosphere while others don't. There are many solar systems in the Milky Way galaxy and there are many galaxies in the universe. There are many galaxies around the Milky Way. Another two galaxies are believed to merge into the Milky Way.
